The idea behind bristolstreets.co.uk is that there is a lot of information that is best presented on a map rather than in a text list. When you know the name of something it is easy enough to search for it but when you don't know the exact name of something it is much better to be able to find it by looking at a map.

How do you find the right bus if you don't know the names of all the places that they go or which route numbers go there? With conventional tables you are stuck, but with bristolstreets.co.uk you simply click where you want to go and see a list of routes. Click the route numbers to see where they go, how could it be simpler?

This map will evolve and expand over time. Currently only the bus routes that operate entirely within Bristol have been fully covered. We have already done much of the research for routes extending out to the villages, towns and cities near to Bristol but don't want to show this information until we have visited all of the bus stops on the ground to ensure we are showing you accurate stop positions.
