Happy New Year and Lots More Data
Happy new year! Belated but it was worth the wait.
We have added lots of new data to the system both in breadth and depth.
Routes from central Bristol into Yate and Chipping Sodbury are now included on the map.
The train details before were slightly rudimentary before. This was partly because buses and trains work quite differently when it comes to listing routes and destinations, and initially we were trying to use the old bus systems to handle the trains. No more. Buses are based around routes, trains are based around stations and that is how we now handle them.
The biggest change though is now all of the bus stops and trains stations have departure times. When you click on a stop or station it will list the trains or buses stopping at that stop for the next two hours. If you want to know what will be stopping at some other time, just change the date or time popups above the list of journeys.
